ja, hab ich hier... die scheibe ist nett, wenn sie mich auch nicht vom hocker gehauen hat. eine nahtlose anknüpfung an die alten sachen. wenn man den sound mag, dann passt sie :N
Zitat: This is not music to listen to (especially not with headphones!), but to experience as a physical phenomena, and as such it can provide hours of enjoyment.

Zitat: The three pieces here reveal Gagaku's influence in their sonorities and microtonalism rather than in strict thematic structure. "GO Guitars" (the word go means the numeral five in Japanese) is an aggressive piece for five guitars all tuned microtonally around E. The volume is high and the pitch is a wavering, shimmering glissando around sonorities.

Just Be Yourself! Urban Sprawl Records proudly presents its first ever compilation. What began as just a twinkle in the eye of its creators, USR now sports a healthy roster of diversely talented artists from all over the world. From the beginning, we didn't want to restrict ourselves to any one genre. We wanted to promote free music of all varieties: ambient, Hip Hop, Indie, IDM, and more. Notwithstanding the electronic music bias of its main content manager (MonoCulture), I'd like to think that this compilation reflects that declaration of diversity. I want to thank all the artists who've sent in their music and made USR a reality. They are damn fine musicians, and deserve to be very rich and famous indeed.
Some of us have paid tribute to the Teenbeat Records
label before with contributions to Amateurs on Plastic: a Tribute to Teenbeat Records through interpretation of songs on the labels discography. It took two years and seven months for Amateurs on Plastic to see its release (bearing the My Mean Magpie and The Unlike Label’s imprint) and even longer for it to make its way into the hands of all the participants. This release would be different.
